As always, absolutely perfect, Ryan! I guess I missed the last few vids. I didn't even realize you had new ones. 1 thing though, i might recommend, is that you include more information about your paint, what colors/brands you are using and how you are mixing them for each painting. Along with any mediums you may or may not be using. I noticed when reading the comments on your videos that you have a lot of beginners and this info would be super helpful to them if they are trying to paint along with you. TFS, on to watch the rest!

Cheryl Betas Not only that but he skips and then there’s whole sections painted. I guess it gives us more freedom to create the painting more unique to how we like it, but he skips some of his important brush strokes and transitioning phases and it just annoys me. Like why skips over so much for a tutorial? The video is already 27 minutes! Lol.

Loved it!!!..? Did you apply white gesso before. painting .im new to acrylics
@RyanORourkeArtist3 жыл бұрын
This one was done with oil but no, the canvas came pre-gessoed :) If you’re new and curious about if your canvas has also been pre-gessoed hold the canvas under decent lighting and inspect the color. If it’s white it has some gesso on it. If it’s more of a tan it’s yet to be. Also, it’s worth noting you can add extra gesso to a canvas if you feel it’s too rough :)

How do you keep your paint on your palette moist? My paint gets hard and dry and if I try to use it by a slight spray of water, tiny pieces form on my brush😳 Ryan, what can I do? With all that being said, HELP! 😄
@RyanORourkeArtist7 жыл бұрын
This was done with oils so the paint naturally stays 'wet' for day. With acrylics I just put small amounts of new wet paint on my palette every 30-ish minutes :) In regards to the news letter, it was actually discontinued. I used it to alert people when I posted but now I post every Saturday on a set scheduled so it isn't necessary any longer. I hope that helps!
