Your dry humor, easy explanations and linguistic play, is almost as interesting as the painting. Together they make your videos all the more entertaining - and by that elevates the teaching value. ☺

Thanks for another inspiration, Stuart! Just today, I recommended your channel to a dear friend of mine whose work-life imbalance doesn't let her paint, though she would LOVE to learn. I told her, if anyone can show you how to let go and play with paint, it's dear Stuart Davies. My own work load hasn't let me join any of your classes yet, but I'll get there someday. Until then, thanks for all you do for so many...

Thank you again for a most pleasant and inspiring video of your exquisite work. Even the gorgeous closing music presses all the right buttons for me, especially when I think of beautiful, spectacular, dear Wales I fell in love with many, many moons ago. Your work is a breath of fresh (Welsh?) air in a world gone completely insane.

Awesome video Stuart.... This has made me feel i want to get my brushes out again and feel i could achieve something pretty good following this....I used to do Bob ross style and i feel a few similarities in your style but the landscapes are typically British which will be awesome for me....PART 2...hurry up..lol... Great stuff..

Hi Stuart, I just wanted to say thanks and I have been watching several of your videos all the way through. You're one of the few artists here on KZbin that shows the entire process without cutting or speeding up, it really helps a lot to see the entire painting done in real time. You have a unique style, your sense of humor is enjoyable and you're easy to listen to.

I have been watching you paint and I find it very interesting, the way you go about starting a picture. I paint mostly a lot of detail and I am trying to get a looser look to My work. I think watching you will help me do that, and you do have a soothing voice. I do hope I can watch you finish this one. I'm I Texas.

I LOVE whenever a new video comes out. You’ve changed how I paint skies. I love a good dramatic sky and you’ve helped me find how to make them happen as I feel them. It’s the landscape part. You work magic with that, because I cannot….CANNOT, get the land to ever look like you do. 🤣 Guess my head will remain in the clouds 🤣🤣

Thank you, Stuart. I've discovered your videos recently and it has been delightful to watch the way you give life to paint while creating these amazing skies and soothing landscapes. Before the sky work even starts…the way the landscape shapes up is great on its own. While your, “You can do this” has drawn me into painting, there is subtlety in the red/green/medium mix, and the feel with the brush. The start of this painting is a powerful, concise lesson on how well it *can* work.

Another great lesson. Tyvm. Many times before painting a wall with a 3" brush, or cutting it in rather, I'd amuse myself by making 30 second scenes with this type of technique. Discovering your channel and watching almost all of your videos has really opened my eyes. I have one more detailed acrylic painting to finish, then I'm going back to oils and have some fun. So again, thank you...And as I'm sure you know, anyone who doesn't want to hear you explain yourself while painting isn't the sharpest crayon in the box are they? TC

You are an absolute delight to listen to. I love the stories, your dry wit, & you using the word, “okay,” when your satisfied w/ a particular part of your 🎨, is no different than the Brits’ tendency to use the word, “Right,” in a similar manner if you think about it. It’s caught on across the pond here in certain regions. . I really like how this is turning out. It reminds me of some of the big thunderclouds we see rolling through here in the northeastern United States. I’m really looking fwd to part 2! Ty for uploading it😊 I agree 💯, that promoting one’s own social media links or KZbin videos on someone else’s channel upload, is inappropriate, tacky, in poor taste, frowned upon, & in general, seen as just wrong by most.

Another viewer who always watches your entire videos. All of them! No "only the first 12 minutes" for me! Here is something that I would love to see...an ancient megalithic stone structure as a feature in your landscape under one of your amazing mysterious skies. There are some in France and they are only a web search by images away. You always seem up for a challenge and doing one may create an entire new genre of buyer for a painting since so many folks are captivated by them. I know that you dislike or prefer not to include anything "Man Made" in your paintings but, how about something Man made thousands of years ago. Certainly not a cottage house or a cute little red barn. Ponder on the idea. As always. Stay Safe & Healthy.
