Thanks so much! It's a really fun, loose way to paint. It starts off looking awful, but you just keep building it up until you get it to the desired effect, and BAM! Cool happens. :) Thank you for watching and commenting!

Very interesting techniques Jon. I had to chuckle to myself because as you were saying in the video "now if you are thinking - what is he doing ?', I was thinking the very same thing. The end result is what matters though, and the model looks great!
@JonBius2 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! There is often a point in the middle of a build that things look quite awful, and many times modelers bail on it at that point. But quite often if you push through, it emerges as something greater than the sum of its parts. Thanks for watching and commenting!

This is gorgeous. I looked for ways to get in touch with you about buying this guy if it’s still around, but I assume it’s long sold. Any possibility you’d be interested in building one for sale? It could be even more minimal than this potentially to save time. Just a simple grey with standard black tie solar panels. Maybe a stripe…but no weathering. Anyhow….this is truly beautiful and inspiring. I wish I had the time and money for a new hobby.

It should work fine. In the end, the colors you apply over the top will be the key. Thanks for watching and commenting!

People that dont know of citadel paints because they only shop at “model car” shops are missing out. Some of them are trash but most of them, especially the shades are great

Why would people not like what you just shared? Instead of painting a pristine ship and then spending additional time weathering, you shared a painting style that produces an already weathered look.
