When using tamco Ronnie you must use a air supplied respirator to be completely safe. I this video I wasn’t so i could talk but had my air booth pulling vapor away. Probably not smart but had to talk. I also have one or two videos over the air supply respirator i use. The canister masks will not protect you enough when using this type of clear.

You said you wait 10 to 15 minutes between the first and second coat the clear coat inside the gun where the needle is does not dry up before your second coat? I just started painting baits last winter and I'm looking to try to spray the clear with my airbrush because I get bubbles when I use a brush or dip it from time to time also I am typically only clearing one bait at a time so I'm not sure how to break down the mixture and that small of an increment?. Would it be better to just go ahead reduce the whole can all at once or would that cause issues with it's sitting over time? I'm using kbs Diamond clear I do have a bottle of reducer thanks for your help in advance👊👊

Just trying to decide if it's worth the money or not. KBS has a short shelf life after the can is opened. How long is the hardener shelf life on the tamco?
@greencountrycustoms8387 Жыл бұрын
Yes, I like ease of kbs dip and go. But I just can't keep it. The tamco I had for 8 years. I kept the tear away tab from hardner and just paced it back in place then screw lid on. I kept the harder in original bottle. The other mixture I bought a gallon so I spilt it Into pint Mason jars and use as needed. Not one problem. But you need to have a spray booth to keep the toxins off you and never breathe it. I use a supplied air mask. So alot more cost with this system.

Thanks for comment, the 15 lures are no problem for an airbrush, done many, many more in one setting than this. I use water base paint most of the time so just clean with water. When using solvent paint or clear i do use acetone. The propellant is air from small harbor freight compressor
