Wow! Finally, you have shown me how to best paint my figures. I read books but still struggled. I always used oils. My work looked good but never to the pro level. I gave up years ago but still have my tanks and figures. I always planned to build each in diorama display for my den. I also plan on using water base. I do have a good collection of expensive natural hair brushes. You do a great job teaching, and your vids are very well done.

Thanks Sean! I ended up finishing the figure before I filmed the next steps - but that information is well covered in other later videos :)

Is there a effect for Painting Tweed? I'm doing Moebius Invisable Man and I want to do his coat a gray tweed. Searched everywhere to avail.

No effect that I know of - you just have to paint the pattern by first laying out the vertical lines and then begin arduous task of creating the hatching!

Excellent. Would have just kept on painting belts black none the wiser, good tip. Also like the fact that you have uniforms/weapons of the period on display which make your vids more interesting. Are vallego the best paints to use for German ww11 figures, or do you have a favourite?

Thomas, I like to use both Andrea, Scale 75 and Vallejo. Whatever seems to closet to me on the bench at the moment!!
