Painting was such a sense of escapism for me growing up and recently I decided to whip out the brushes again! We woke up at the crack of dawn to catch the sunrise so I could be a bit more inspired.

@Mya Jane Yeah. I would love to have a relationship like theirs. I mean like I know there are hardships in every relationship and we don’t see there’s. But what I do see I admire and want to work towards. You can tell they respect each other and they’re comfortable and have trust in their relationship and everything they’ve built together. It’s beautiful to see how they always hype each other up and how they communicate. You can tell they’re genuinely best friends.

I love this so much! I’m actually a painting major in my senior year of university (I went to community college first) and I got back into painting a few months ago. Recently I actually made one of the best paintings I’ve ever done! This was so cool to watch! I hope you do more paintings soon!

Carolynn omg I love the fact that you filmed the sunrise!! The fact that we both live in Florida makes me so happy ! Applying gesso to a canvas can be easier if you do it using a discarded gift card instead of a brush, and it's also easier to apply texture that way!! Loved the painting by the way!!!
