Part 3?? Well, you definitely earned yourself another subscriber! Your model fields are amazing! I can't wait to see what else you come up with. I used to collect Warhammer Lord of the Rings sets back in 2004 and stopped some time after due to it costing so much, but I recently got back into it and had been putting money aside to get that massive starter set Games Workshop recently released for Lord of the Rings, and I have to say, all of these tutorials really help with creating model fields of my own. Keep it up!
@Zorpazorp6 жыл бұрын
That's awesome bro welcome back to the hobby! The Starter Set is definitely a great way to get into it it's such good value for a new player it costs $250 Australian over here and I think it's worth something like 650 to $700 in value. Such a big deal. Thanks man welcome to the family and I'm glad you're enjoying the videos stay tuned we've got some Epic Stuff planned over the next few months as we smash terrain leading up to our big tournament in January Arda Unleashed :D

Another time a fantastic and instructive video. Can you tell us the diferent models of Noch static grass you use for the diferent mixes? And one trick for you with the static aplicator, if you use a thin wire rod inside an empty pen body, fixed with a bit of bluetack or similar, and you attach the alligator clip to the wire in the top and use the bottom tip of the wire to touch the glue parts it will prevent your hands from discharges and keep the tension near of the applicator mess. I think you got the idea.
@ScudLance6 жыл бұрын
cool.

Mixing up the colours of the static grass makes such a huge difference in my opinion, that has turned out amazing! Awesome job :) Do you ever have issue with static grass coming loose?
@Zorpazorp6 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude :) yeah sometimes but I give everything a really good vacuum and it seems to be holding up so far. I haven't given my static grass boards a vigorous year of playing yet so we'll see how they go. I might seal then with a varnish at some point.

Very cool, awesome job but somehow those seems on the 45 degree corners on the tower seem very unnatural to me. So much even that even painted I will instantly spot them en say: No, this is not a natural tower. And thats a pitty becouse everything else is made so very believable they kinda stick out a lot. Don't get me wrong, i'll be most gratefull if I would be able to even shadow this build, but it is so good, that this minor flaw actually becomes a big one I think.... Does that make sense to you?
