I actually love Grian’s and Gem’s new designs. Gem’s hair is awesome and Grian’s clothes are so intricate! I really hope they do some cool lore thing with the Aye-Mateys (Workshopping a duo name)/Ocean Provides thing.

Your style and rendering is just gorgeous! The amount of detail you can put into this without making it look too busy or overwhelming and getting lost is just amazing. Not to mention the storytelling bits and bobs throughout his design. Even when he threw a curveball out there in the end with his new skin, you still managed to tie it in so nicely! Thanks ! I think the best way is to do gesture practices? Do breakdowns of the poses and not just do mindless sketching .Use a lot of references. My fave YT source for art advice is Ethan Becker , I recommend checking out his videos . I dont really do the whole “ya gotta learn the scientific muscles and all” ., it might be helpful but i dont think it’s necessary? Idk depends on you .,
