Something about pearl being the moon and scar being the earth is just like "symbolic", i mean like secret life scar was alone most of it but pearl being there for him in the end to let him win, and like how earth wouldnt be in balance without moon. There are a lot more to the other winners too but thats just something i realized.

Wow. This is crazy. You can tell everything was purposeful. Color wise yes, but even the positions of each 3rd life champions too. Grian and Scar have their hands closed to their hearts with the last thing they did, wings open, legs apart and both wearing long ponchos or cloaks, they mirror each other. Grian's eyes are open yes, but it shows he was the first champion. Scott and Martyn have their legs together, and are holding the last item they used, their arms forming a triangle, unity. Their backgrounds are even a reflection of polar differences. Pearl is the only one wearing a hood but also doesn't have someone to mirror. She is her own pillar, or bridge something in which her hands are symbolizing by being together. A bridge of the first two and the last two, between Scott and Martyn, and Grian and Scar. And there is so much more. Truly this piece is amazing and had so much thought into it! WOW, THIS IS INCURABLE!!

The amount of references in this piece, the mirrored poses, the winners who actively took the final life holding the weapon used, the fact Grian is the only one with eyes opened because watcher and admin of the life series, the designs, the way they're framed, and Grian + Scar have basically the same cloak (except for color, hood, and the flowers) make me so happy. The background music fits really well, can't remember if it's from Undertale of Deltarune though (also once I was scrolling through a website that had a bunch of names and their meanings to name a character and I saw Grian, which made me surprised because I didn't except Grian to be an actual name, then I looked at the meaning of the name... it meant "sun" and Grian's winner nickname is "The Sun") (idk I just thought that was a cool fact that fans of the Life Series should know)

The level of symbolism and the poetic comments are making me realize just how fitting all of these fan atributes, names, and more is to the series/characters. Every detail of this is beautiful. I think I can safely say this is among my favorite artworks of all time. And I'll add another fitting bit of info I had not seen in comments (I haven't looked at all yet). Grian means "sun".

Everything about this is super cool! I love the symmetry, and especially the backgrounds! Quick note, I love how Grian’s sun kinda looks like an open eye, whether that be intentional or not. Back to the backgrounds, I especially love Scott’s! The way the cape just flows into it makes my brain happy. Also! All of the wings! They look SO COOL! Pearl’s moth wings are so pretty! ALSO ALSO MARTYN’S EXPRESSIONS? SCAR’S SUNFLOWERS? (adds to the portrait feel! the glow too! lizard brain is very happy!) (Why Grian is the Sun?IDK will just do a hunch) Scott is the Shooting Star Pearl is the Blood Moon Martyn is the Mars, God of War Scar is the Peacefull Earth Grian is the Burning Sun Scott is associated with stars, being the starborn one time, shooting at his enemies in night, cold and silent, fallen show star Pearl is a moon due to her name, being awake at night gone crazy and got blood, lost the one who she should've been around, the lonely moon without stars Martyn is(the tricky) the one who hasn't been on fire, angry, wanting only to win, melted with lava who stand before him... "honor"?,"camaraderie"? who cares at the end? Scar(seems like the Framed one) wanted friends, but wishies were not on his side, as if being set up to be at the fault of all the destruction, the chaos and blood, in the end moon was last, tho still in horizon, where earth didn't know, it's gone, and there only the day had remained Grian is cheering, energetic and noisy, he lights his way to win, burning with a touch, the sun that couldn't have anyone, because it was so bright
