Lowrider Tape off paint jobs get really crazy really fast. They go through rolls and rolls of masking tape. Between the fish scales, lace, sunbeams, endless lines, and filigree the possibilities are endless. Much props on the tiny lowrider. Looks amazing.

I’m so happy you did this. I have 2 66 Impala 1/25 scale low riders. I want to do a pin stripe paint job on it. My base will be a pearl white. Main color is a champagne pink. I need to find a few other shades of pink the might go with the champagne. The other low rider will be a emerald green and gold. I’ll use a lace on the car for the gold. The emerald green will be the main color. I won’t get to them until this June. I want it warmer so I don’t have any issues with the paint. Your paint job will totally help me out. Thank you.

Always loved these traditional lowrider paint jobs. There are tons of good hot wheels lowrider style castings, a few Impala's of different years, Buick Riviera, Monte Carlo, 59 Cadillac... You could even challenge the common debate of turning a muscle car like say.. a Firebird into a lowrider lol!

late seventies Cadillac or Caprice, 1975 or '76 T-bird. or Lincoln Mark V (5) ish. I think these sleds would make great low rider palettes for you to play in/on. I love watching your mind work on these types of projects, the OCD of an engineer with the eye of an artist. Please do this more!

Really great! The roof looks coffin-pleated! Maybe next a Continental? ... maybe a convertible for which you can flock the seats for a plush appearance? "I've been late for work five times this week and it's only Tuesday" lol. Sweet first attempt man, sucks about the adhesive residue in the paint. Pretty much open on most 60's cars for this style of paint, would love to see some Fords (Fairlanes and Galaxies in particular) as you usually only see GM cars done like this.
