I really love trees! What a beautiful area you found for painting. Like how you kept the focal tree light and still included shadows. I thank you so much for sharing your painting outings, thus also sharing your beautiful country. My “outback” would be mountains, rocks, cactus and creosote trees (or bushes) and breathtaking sunrises & sunsets. I love painting outside no matter the view or terrain. Now I have to get out there and get painting! Thank you for being so inspiring.😊

G'day Nancy, Thanks so much. Yeah tree's are beautiful hey and we really can't live without them hey. Yeah I really wanted it to have a bit of depth in this painting and it turned out ok. It's a beautiful spot and ain't there beauty in everything hey. I think you're land the view with those red clay like rocks and big cactuses would be awesome to paint and you could add a horse or two in a subject like that. One day I have to come to America. One place I really want to paint at is Bodega bay where they filmed bird's. It's on my bucket list. Have a great painting weekend Nancy. Cheers 🎨🎨👍

G'day Guy, Thanks so much Mate. Yeah I didn't want to take the eye away from the subject and it worked. Yeah I did but wasn't 100% on the name of this particular gum till my Mate clarified it was a scribbly gum. Happy painting Mate 🎨🎨👍

Nice one Tez... though I was wondering if you ever worry about some kind of snake, or something sneaking up on you while you're concentrating on the painting ?.. I hear Australia has a lot of them too.

G'day Paul, Yeah I thought that while I was there Mate. A small mammal ran past me like a mouse but was hopping like a kangaroo and I thought a snake could have been on he's tail. If I got bitten by a brown snake there it's goodbye I think. You have like 15 minutes I heard and an ambulance is like 25 minutes drive away so no chance. Fingers crossed Mate that never happens. Scary...I was in Arizona back in the 90's for five years. I wore thick leather boots ( cowboy boots ) whenever in the desert just in case. Anyway, take care mate, and enjoy the painting.
