That painting reminds me of the mist before the snow. In the Sierra Mountains you see foggy mist before the snow starts. So I like the name "Mist before the Snow". You are an artist 🎨. Thank for your videos.

You make the most gorgeous trees! Thank you for posting! I’ve been needing something to help me with my tree technique for a while so I can stop blaming my fan brushes. 😂

Really great trees Bram. I forget to use that dagger brush, and it is such a great brush for so many things. Was happy to hear you mention the bunny brush. So many people are confused about that term! Lol 🤗

Hey I know this is an older video. But it just popped into my feed. If you are Ever in Seattle or somewhat close for whatever reason, would love to meet up, take a class, share a beer, whatever. I love your paintings. I appreciate your sharing the techniques. And wouldn't mind seeing others as you learn them or feel the need to share. I'm a fairly noobie to painting. Finally took the plunge April of '23. After watching that other famous painter since he started on PBS way back in the early 80's. Not a spring chicken to have started, but man, I'm loving it, and finally have the time and disposable income to do it. Always love watching your vids. Please let me know if you ever visit the Puget sound region.

you're not weird. You seem pretty normal. I get bored or lack creativity and I just started... But I did do a dark scenery with a UFO and silhouetted trees this morning. It was fun, not quite what I had in my head. But will try again and maybe have some humanoids being taking up in the stream, next time. or maybe cows.

Hey Bram im curious, Have you or Steve ever met Kevin Hill? It would be really cool to see what you guys can do together. He uses similar techniques to make those kinds of trees, but takes it way further so I definitely appreciate that you show how you do them for free. Can you do a video on how you make multi layered hills with trees ontop of them (really far away trees pretty much) - I feel like thats not covered much anywhere.
