Wow... for a first freehand, that is impressive. Massive credit to Emil for sticking it out and finishing it. With Lukas' freehand skill, it would've been so easy to just let him do it, and save a bunch of time. I'm sure Emil thought about it at least a couple of times while painting it.

I really think Lucas should have did a Tyranid 'Kraken' trying to snatch up a space cruiser. I know it's kinda nitpicking the lore but how many people in the 40k universe knows what a Saint boat is? Have seen one? Know of any legendary ships names and stories? Either way, Lucas did a really good job
@volegaming3603 Жыл бұрын
@@nofuxgivens2797 I don’t agree. The days of old wooden ships are gone but we still feature them heavily in our art, media and mythology. I think it’s perfectly reasonable for people far in the future to still be aware of them!

Few additions you could add to the diorama: The loyalist titan could have barnicles due its employment under water, The Chaos titan could be leaking oil into the ocean around it, as chaos corrupts whatever its near; similar to the likes of an oil barge spill maybe? anyways; keep up the great work!

I feel like this really shows what kind of determination it takes to get to both of yours' skill level. Both free hands look amazing because you didn't fold in and let Lukas do all three pieces.

I just started painting miniatures and there’s a learning curve. You guys definitely are leagues ahead lmao I have however, been free hand drawing anime since I was a little kid, so what you’re currently doing would be easier for me. Even blending with copic markers is just not the same as painting minis lmao it’s hard man. But keep free handing! It’s awesome.

Absolute monsters, the both of you. They all look fantastic! Also laughing at the idea of the 40k world hunting down actual artists to design murals to be painted on their giant murder machines. "If you don't do a good job, we'll kill you and feed your soul to the emperor!" is some real motivation. But they'd prolly do that anyways. It's 40k.

I'm now imagining Traitor and Loyalist Knight Houses having Custom Titan Shows; where they show off their sweet, sweet rides and compete for best in show. Now Squidmar and Emil just need to paint up the rest of the Titans' panels to the same level 😄😄😄👍

Hey! Love the series so far, and I have an idea for the diorama, two actually. I think the rockets should be used as anti personnel weaponry. The other idea is to have the victor titan rip off armor/a limb as it pushes the loser beneath the waves. Maybe even have the foot go partially through? It would add some serious movement and power to the fight
@ShoGunGrebby Жыл бұрын
It may have taken you 2 extra days, but you effing NAILED it... Lucas's art is amazing as well, but the transition of your flames to the rest of the piece really makes the Bloodletter Pop into the foreground... I love it... I also really love Lucas's art as well... it kinda reminds me of scrimshaw (which I think would look amazing somewhere else on the model if you think you have time or patience enough to do it - just make it look like its etched in metal as opposed to dark lines in whale bone... i think that would be a really neat touch) fantastic work as usual boys, I can't wait to see the whole thing finished

To be fair, isn't hard to believe that somehow, the image of a 16th century ship made it on the shoulder pad of a Titan in the 40 millenium? If you don't wear any actually, you maybe can find some in pharmacy/ drugstore, or even dispensing optician. Power +2,5 each eye should really reduce the strain (but they will only ever be usefull for nearsight only)
