Awesome bro! The dots on the "eyes" ends up adding a really cool effect, like 10:10. Looks like a digital display or something, like on other batman-related cosplays I've seen.

Great stuff as always dude. I'm working on a couple project builds myself, and this just gives me lots of inspiration. Can't wait to see your whole costume together.

What was the red paint in the video? Never mind after slowing it down 0.25x speed I was able to tell that it was Rusteuleom Ultra 2x Gloss Colonial Red

I was curious i brand new to all of this can weather with any kind of spray paint. For my first attempt I project enamel spray paint, I wanted to keep it simple for my first try and it looks good so far, but I wanted to give that ago. The black wash, can I buy that as one project, or do have to mix to make it and how do i do that.

You can go to any local craft or modeling store that says Acrylic paint. There are multiple ways of doing this method. 1) Just apply the acrylic paint with a brush and wipe away with the paper towel like he did. 2) Apply again with a brush then use a dampened paper towel that has 70-90% isopropyl alcohol and give it a gentle scrub. Or 3) Take a solo or plastic cup with luke warm water and dish soap, add your acrylic paint, dip your brush in and apply a wet coat on your helmet. Then with a rattle can of black paint, gently from a slight distance of about 12 inches give a misting spray on your helmet. Then with a paper towel dampened with alcohol wipe away the wet application. The 3rd method will cause a slight reaction to the enamel or lacquer paint to not set evenly creating a really interesting and random dirty pattern.

Do I have to put the LED strips on the eyes? If I put them above the eyes wouldn't it still look as if the eyes are lit? Help me out brother.
