Thank you so much. That really means a lot ❤️ Legit, I started filming two other videos and the editing was just not working. Started this project and when I realized I’d painted the wrong book…I honestly didn’t think I’d have a video for this weekend. Then realizing I was missing a whole box of markers 😐😑

Well the oops was integral to the story of how it ended up becoming an illustration of a pizza oven. I’m ok with sharing my happy little accidents 😄 Thanks for the watch!

Great job! In the future, consider priming your surface with either gesso or a matte or gloss medium. It will make the surface less thirsty, and your paint will perform better. I hope you try again with your other notebook!

Yes, I’ll consider priming the next book. This one has a canvas texture, and since I was working with an acrylic medium…I didn’t think I’d need to use primer. And yes, I will at some point paint the other one. Not sure I’ll film it though. Lesson learned. Thanks for the watch 👍

Thank yooou! I advocate for sketchbook cover painting…just make sure if it’s a themed book that you check and make sure which theme it is first 😆😩
