So the video is fake?:((
@thetiredworm21004 жыл бұрын
How did u figure that out? Can u give me your sources
@danielhincapie64564 жыл бұрын
@@thetiredworm2100 A few reasons actually. The most obvious is how hard this would actually be to pull off. Paintings take hours, especially ones this complex and detailed. I’ve drawn on and ridden countless trains in nyc and they are hardly ever steady. The people constantly move not to mention get off the train unexpectedly. The most you ever get is about 20-30 minutes if you’re lucky. Then there’s the actual video evidence. The circle he starts at the beginning is not even close to what is seen once the painting progresses. The lighting changes once he zooms in (look at the brush). There’s a much harder shadow from his studio lights. And lastly he never shows the painting mid progress. Most likely he works off a photo he takes of the model and then films the “beginning” and end of the video in the subway. His drawing vids are similarly done though those were probably initially done with actual strangers and he works off of a photo to complete the drawing later on. Anytime he actually hands a fully rendered sketch to someone, it’s a model. I don’t like calling the video fake because his art is really really good and completely real, but I don’t necessarily like that he gets views and money off staging the video and pretending he did it all on the subway in real time. I understand that he feels he needs to do it to stand out on social media, but I wish the art could speak for itself rather than use gimmicks. Though with millions of followers, I guess it works.

I’ve been on the train before and painted before (not on the train, but knowing how painting feels and works, extreme precision and stillness is not necessary, for a skilled artist I don’t think the train would be a problem), I don’t think the train is the problem it’s not very bumpy

Seems like the first women was going though a hard time and this dude made her day. I hope she's fine now, 🙏 Edit: Some people saying it's fake, let me tell you, don't judge someone on your presumptions. This artist takes multiple attempts hadover the drawings when he finds the right opportunit. I'm myself an artist, and I know it's not impossible to draw portrait in 10 minutes. Just because your brain cannot accept someone's talent, it doesn't means they are fake.

@@devolutionone i mean that it's really really hard (almost impossible) to make a painting like that in few minutes. I think that he make those painting in another place because in some videos you can see that after the zoom the shadow of the pencil or brush is not the same. @@rosaabate4953 I'm sorry, who are you? Are you just some rando trying to defend business malpractices such as publishing misleading videos with misleading titles? If you like being lied to that's fine, but that doesn't mean you can stop others from hating on it. because it is CERTAINLY deserved. I myself can clearly see the cuts and edits being done, there is ZERO point in lying to me. If you need help seeing them they usually start at the "2 second" mark the moment the edges of the canvas or paper reaches the edges of the screen. This is called a transitional cut and is done to meld 2 scenes together without alerting the viewers. I thought it was done horrendously and really obvious, but turns out ya'll have extreme observation deficits.

@@MasterYoda389 Ahhh man I know, it's actually quite disturbing how 99% of people can't see this, it's so obvious. Or worse, even when it is pointed out to them, they don't care and still defend him like, "he's still really talented". Yea, so are millions of other people. But the difference is they're not pretending to be able to do something in a different location in a speedy time. He's such a fraud man.
