I do both mainly painting now bc my iPad broke and I lost all my online artwork. But painting is SOOO HARD I’ve just gotten in gouache and I just gave up lots. Until I watched someone paint and suddenly realised layering and starting off with the background. With painting the thing you need is understanding and motivation, motivation comes from understanding when I had no idea what I was doing I had no motivation, now I have an idea some what my motivation grows and my painting skills hopefully will flourish as well

I am an artist and... I could never draw using this process - I am always amazed when mostly realistically painting Artists start somewhere and finish a little area and then move on to the next. I always need to work simultaniously on the whole canvas, slowly rendering out what i want to show, with the whole picture always being in the same level of "finishedness". I know - its a very different process to render something very close to a reference - but to have this kind of accuarate color perception and skill, is marvellous. And added to this, this is a very pleasing looking portrait. Thank you for sharing.

@@dOVERanalyst where tf did I say that I don’t like hyper realism? Not even once did I mention any of those words. What I was saying is that a real artist would not put down other artists work. And once again, if u don’t understand those two dots u can just say u don’t have the brain capacity to read thru more difficult concepts and stop embarrassing urself

@@5678Но I'm not embarrassing myself. You're. I never abused you. You did. Look at my language. Look at yours. You swear. You look down upon others just because they don't like the art you like. You judge people's "brain capacity" by what they like. Irony it is that I've got many gold medals & I'm highly educated, but sadly your definition of "brain capacity" isn't the mainstream one. I see no point in your desperate need to ridicule others inorder to make your choice of art superior while still commenting on an absolute opposite style of painting. So, like what you like. Don't hate people who don't like what you like. It's a basic fact : Whole world population taste of art & music isn't the same. Never will be.

It looks incredibly clean as to get the painting so sharp and realistic so it's probably traced, using a backlight. Or it could be traced the old fashioned way or simply a sketch that is really well defined.

IF you haven't, I highly recommend that you try it. I was always a bit scared myself of oils as they felt so "permenant" but I assure they are far from. you can always shift paint and move it around, and paint over it when it dries. I dabbled in oil painting and immediately ran into a lot of fun things I found. I found that I was much better than I gave myself credit, and that all of the art knowledge and exprience you have will transfer to your paintings. Good luck!

I found that painting in theory is very simple and easy but it takes a lot of time, skill, and talent to master just how dark the paint should be, how saturated and what hue it is. Figuring out the tones, textures, and everything that make these individuals colors into one piece of art is an achievement in of itself but to be able to capture the emotions, ideas, and stories into a painting is definitely a blessing to be able to create and share.

Why would people even dislike this,its a goddamn masterpiece
@annamoroz21013 жыл бұрын
Because it’s the way a printer works. She first transferred precisely all lines from a photograph and after coloured with a very thin layer of semi liquid oil paint. Once it’s dried it looks like a printed photo on a canvas you order at any office products store. This kind of “artist” always relies on an existing photograph image which was done by a machine.

@@animelover9325 what Anna Moroz said is actually probably correct. It's not feasible to paint this way for bigger scenes with complex lighting. Almost any serious classical art instruction you will get will say you should avoid overworking any single area of the painting first, because that throws off your sense of colour balance and values. You can only do this if you had another image where all the balance is figured out. So either this person copied some photos, or they made a different painting according to other methods and then reproduced it. Or they're a savant, but that's a separate issue. It's a fun spectacle but it doesn't mean people consider it good art.
