Always loved your work Colley, but there was never enough of you to watch! But seeing you putting more time into your channel of late and sharing your tips and general approach has been great. So much appreciation and keep up the great work. Top drawer!

this looks very good, like the color temperature handling as well as sense of value; drawing accuracy is also spot on

Staithes is a great place for artists. David Curtis paints there frequently in a similar style to you...simple but so realistic. Love it Thanks for sharing..such informative videos.

I had no plans of painting today, I was going to give myself a break… and then CWhisson drops down from the internet above and has altered my path! Beautiful piece Colley, love it! 🎉
Ahh yes, Staithes. Easy to walk down to, harder to walk out of. Just up the road from Whitby where we also stopped to have the 'best' fish and chips in the world but sadly disappointed (Clovelly's 'Out Of The Blue' is safe). We visited many places like Staithes including Beer and Port Isaac on our road trip and you've captured the essence of them beautifully.

As you know ….David Curtis…..a wonderful painter has a spot there… I’ve tried to get on his course which is held there yearly… no luck yet…..one day……did you study or meet him…you might have mentioned before in one of your programmes…..I’m enjoying your snippets of how you work…. Thanks

Colley, how do find working off your monitor in studio vs working off a printed image? It’s difficult to match on a screen as it’s not reflective light.

I find the size and the clarity of my Mac screen brilliants; it’s my preferred way to paint.
