Excellent video. A great way to approach watercolors for a beginner. I’ve decided to paint smaller to focus on mastering the techniques.

You’re right! Painting that small did emphasize your composition and the interplay of light and shadow. I was shocked at how irrelevant correctness of detain and even color were. Even to the extent that some colors you used were demonstrably unreal, yet compositionally pleasing. Good lesson. Thank you.

As always I'm alarmed by how dark your washes appear, and yet again another fantastic painting. 😊

Yes! Those dark initial washes can be terrifying! But then the paint dries and something magical happens. Amazing! 😸

That touch of yellow, in combination with the deep red and green of the boat, really livens the painting. Thank you, Liron.

So pretty. I love your colour choice. This purple greenish combo is so nice. This is the kind of watercolour I think is the best. When it looks more realistic than the real reference or just much better. Hope that makes sense😅

@paulah317
@paulah317 5 жыл бұрын
@@rozk5318 no, overhead chandelier in my dining room, or in my studio I have the overhead ceiling light, 2 table top study lamps on each side of the workspace and one floor lamp with directional ability. Not special unless you call Wal-Mart sale prices special. Lol! Plus I have horrible right eye visual decrease and waiting to get old enough (65) to have surgery....not too far down the road. So onward with painting.... tudio

roz k get a LED food light bulb on a clamp light should be sufficient enough. Make sure it is 5000k or more so you get a nice white daylight. Typical tungsten lighting is too warm :)
