Somehow, I edited out the paints I used in the drybrushing steps. Here they are: 1. Marauder Drybrush: Scale75 Caribbean Blue 2. Lightning Drybrush: Scale75 Sahara Yellow 3. Thunderbolt Drybrush: Scale75 Spring Green

I like the work you have put into these. The asymmetry of the single stripe on the lightning is cool and thanks for sharing this!

I've read that the orange tint you noticed in todays jet fighter cockpit canopies is actually gold dust. It messes up with radar detection and improves stealth. Since most Imperial aircraft are decidedly un-stealthy there is no need to use it here, but if it looks cool its allowed 😎

What can you tell me about those crystal paints?
@jtswargaming10 ай бұрын
They are super transparent and dry very glossy. Due to the glossy finish, you want to use this after you have varnished your mini. If you matte or satin over this, it will destroy the effect. They were designed to be used over a bright silver paint or directly on clear plastic parts (common in scale modelling). They are also meant to be used straight from the bottle. Pigmentation strength varies from color to color, so some colors like the orange require 2-3 coats while the red is perfect in just one coat. These work very well on gems too if you happen to paint fantasy minis!
