Your forsight is incredible. Some painters I have seen on some television shows have been eclipsed by students I have seen in high schools. I miss my mom, who had gone to art school in NYC . You have a wonderful technique, as if you are swimming on your canvas, and the waves seem lying followed you, barely keeping up.🐬 I will continue watching.

I love the very dramatic lighting in the ocean. Normally people like to use the Carribean colors, but this really pops. Hope to see more painting soon. Thanks for sharing Eva!

Goo job, how much time you practiced to learn those colors i mean when you know what you want to paint do you need some time to learn how to do it or you can do it with the first time or you waste materials until you learn and how to draw your idea?

MR SHARPER I painted this seascape on a smaller scale several times before going this large. Doing smaller studies is a great idea and helps a lot. I paint them on gessoed board or canvas textured paper, which is very inexpensive and can easily go in the trash can if smth goes wrong. Half of my studies get painted over or thrown away.

Very impressive video. Not too sure of what colors you used, which brushes and certain details, such as how to achieve the various effects from your brushes, as the video playback has been accelerated... but, as stated, very impressive.

Are you painting with the regular yellow bulb light ? To me it will mess up the colors ...

fr2632 funny question here: it’s a monochromatic piece: only indigo and white. I don’t exactly remember what light I used, it was a while ago in my old studio. Judging from the shadows I used my folding photo lights (with tungsten bulbs and umbrellas).
