Hey! i'm new to Minature painting and a huge Bloodborne fan - so obviously i love your guid! I adapted your airbrush priming method with liquitex colors for basecolor and highlight; but have massive problems with color bleeding when i use contrast colors. Even 2-3 days after the zenithal highlight. any ideas what is going wrong?

Hey! Kinda hard to tell, but I assume it might be the priming. Are you priming before using liquitex colours? A primer paint is used first as other paints will adhere to it easier and usually stop any bleeding or running of colour

@@darksoulsmodels i prime with Black liquitex and then Highlight with liquitex White. In between colors is around a day

I would prime with a designated primer like Citadel Chaos black primer or an Army Painter Primer or Vallejo black Primer. You might be experiencing these weird pooling/bleeding of paint because it’s not a specified primer coat you’re using. Primer usually take 5-10 minutes to dry and a coat of liquitex white over the top of that should take no more than a few minutes to dry either.

@@darksoulsmodels oh my bad. I assumed you would prime with liquitex. I never had any Problems with spray cans, but they are pretty expensive and i thought to give it a try with the airbrush Thx

Yeah spray cans can be expensive, but if you have an airbrush, you can get some Vallejo black primer which can be put into an airbrush! Should work out cheaper
