If you want great detail brushes I do recommend getting nail art brushes. I bought a couple of different sets for my gouache paintings (also getting into miniature painting) and they work amazing! Would love to see you make another Bloodborne diorama!

This vid inspired me to finally start adding highlights to my models. I have this mergos wet nurse model from the board game and I had just painted it black. I stubbornly thought if her cloak is black she should be painted just black. After watching countless of your videos, I finally got it into my head that I should try this highlight thing. I just spent 10 minutes experimenting with different gray highlights and WOW. The model has a WHOLE new life to it now. Thank you! I’m becoming a better painter

Ah that’s so cool! Yeah crazy how much a few extra couple layers can change a model! I do still struggle when it is a one tone cloak much like Mergot, but wet blending is your best friend in those scenarios.

Love this new bloodborne series!! Im just willing to start painting my darksouls boardgame figures, is there any other paint apart from citadel you would recommend? it is pretty hard/expensive to get where I live

Ah amazing! Well I know Vallejo is the king of paints, but not as available to me as Citadel paints. So maybe that’s more accessible where you are? If not, I’ve heard army painter paints are rated well too. And GreenStuffWorld now have their own range of paints too
