Tape up everything, put your gaskets in place. Trace around them with a blade. Remove the tape out side the cut lines. Prime the engine parts with hi temp engine primer first, just one coat, then paint the block and parts with your colour. Then assemble. It makes the engine look proffesional when all the gaskets are clean and visible between the painted parts. Hope you enjoy my videos and enjoy your own build.

you can buy 2 pak in an aerosol might of ben better using that mate my vht on mt 253 is already peeling off

I had Auto one (Auto pro) mix the engine enamel in aerosol cans as per my paint code. I primed the block first just a light coat. Then 1 light coat of engine enamel and 2 heavy coats.
