Today my dreams came true I always had the dream to touch the Hollywood sign not only did I touched it today I also got the paint a piece of the H from the world famous iconic Hollywood sign it was an amazing feeling and I am really thankful the Hollywood sign is becoming a makeover for its 100 year anniversary

I wish that my Grandfather had bought a house there when it was built in the 20's. A "cheap" one sells for $1.5 million now. I believe that the original sign was made of wood, and rotted out in the 40's. Great Video.

I lived in hollywood for 5 months in 1991 ......and have a wonderful picture of me standing at the typical tourist photo spot that you also show in your video at 7.00 minutes . This photo a nice souvenir for me from 31 years ago !!! I feel the exact same way as you,when you said touching the old Hollywood "H" is a feeling you can't describe. We have a huge steel beam in my neighboring town here in Wisconsin from the Twin Towers, and I touched it, and it was a feeling like no other.
