Gene Autry was a country western singer and actor. My daddy used to sing with him. We went to his ranch several times when I was little. I called him Uncle Gene.

Gene Autry was a popular singing cowboy and movie star in the 40's 50's and sang "Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer", still popular today and he owned the baseball team, the Angels and also has a great museum a Griffith Park "The Autry Western Museum", you might want to visit that before you leave LA.

There are 5 known pairs of ruby slippers that have survived. The inner label on the right shoe of the ruby slippers is correct for the brand of shoe purchased. Innes sold white silk shoes that movie studios would purchase because they were easy to dye. Now, the sequins look to be the correct color used, as well as the bow. Adrian made very specific art-deco style bows for the shoes, with 3 rectangle rhinestones.

I would also run around the house with my Dad's big blue towel safety pinned around my neck and Adam West's Batman was my hero. He's still my personal favorite. The cartoon monkey that was playing as you went in was Soso from the Peter Potamus show in case you were wondering. And the Jetsons robot maid was Rosie. Oh, and steer clear of San Francisco! I actually doubt these are the real costume props of the original series, the Superman's one is not for shure, you can esily say It confronting Its detalis with the original worn by Christofer Reeve googling. Here's the answers to your questions in the video. WHO WAS THAT FIGURE IN THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE? It was Lily Tomlin dressed as Ernestine the telephone operator on Rowan's and Martin's Laugh-In. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE JETSONS' ROBOT? Her name was Rosie. WHO IS GENE AUTRY? Gene Autry was the predecessor to Roy Rogers. Gene was the singing cowboy but he wasn't available for a movie so Roy Rogers got the job. Gene Autry also owned one of the ball teams plus had or still does own a museum where you can see his movie memorabilia plus Roy Rogers and The Lone Ranger. Gene also made a hit out of "Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer" song.
