Best of luck with it. Personally, painting figures is my least favourite thing, especially when they need to look realistic. Fantasy I'm OK with, but I need more practice on realistic ones.

Nice video. You have a very similar technique to me when I paint in acrylic. Is this figure a current release or older. I'm thinking it's quite old as it looks very familiar to me. Looks like a figure out of one of Shep Paine's books from years ago. Anyway really enjoyed seeing you bring this dude to life.

The figure is from the 1976 Monogram F-86 kit. It was shown in Paine's book on dioramas.

What brand magnifier do you use? My eyes aren’t that good either, and I’m struggling with 1/35 scale men. 😀

I have a very nice adjustable magnifier with lights and such, and I never use it. I use cheap +3.50 reading glasses from the Pound Shop ;-) They're lighter, let you get closer and are cheaper to replace if they get broken.

It's part of a really old set I bought maybe 25 years ago - a boxed set of glazes. It's literally just called "green". Thanks for watching.
