Dear Mr. Pitt, This afternoon I’m going to paint my sketch of this cottage. I have been refreshing myself with each video on this particular painting and making notes about color. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻😊

Good luck. Just relax. Don’t try too hard but enjoy. And keeping changing colours. Use attractive colour that looks credible.

Thanks for this video. It has taken away the reluctance to use watercolour, the easy way you do it. It is good to go back to sketching too. I need practice on perspective and you do it well, and simply. Good on you. Greetings from Australia.

Andrew, thank you for this series of short videos and the previous series. They are really enjoyable. I find it is easier to absorb and retain the information in these bite-sized pieces than if it was all contained in one long video.

Excellent video lots of useful guidance. I am interested in your brush stroke skills the way you use the side of your brush for foliage. It would be very informative to have a video dedicated to this aspect of your painting, or a section of a video where you cover this.

Thanks. I have had lots of requests to make the next video about the basics of watercolour for absolute beginners, but will incorporate your suggestion in a future video. I think I have attempted to explain my technique in previous videos which include trees and foliage but will try to explain it better in another video. Thanks for your suggestion. www.andrewpitt.co.uk

Dear Mr. Andrew, I appreciate your generosity in providing us with your insights. I want to take advantage of this greeting to let you know that videos 4 and 5 of the series are in a changed order. Excuse my English, but I used google translate as I am not fluent in your language. A cordial greeting and thanks again.

Hey Andrew, lovely painting, question your paints seem to be reader thick, like not a lot of water, so also not much runoff. How do you get your paints in the palette to stay so fresh, or do you add fresh paints to it everyday? I guess I seem to paint with more water, and paints in my palette do dry up so refreshing them with water every time I paint is a bit of a hassle.
@AndrewPittArtist
@AndrewPittArtist Жыл бұрын
My paint is just Winsor and Newton tube watercolour. I paint regularly so it doesn’t get chance to dry out and I always make sure I have fresh, soft paint when I start to run out of a colour. Thanks for your interest. www.andrewpitt.co.uk
