Here I am awake at 3:am and watching this and that, then I see this video in my feed. I’m not an artist but I love to watch creative people work their magic. I can honestly say each step of the way was making me “ wow” way too much. When I thought you had finished you would add another layer, and each layer was more amazing than the last. What talent you have. It just makes me more amazed at the Creator of the universe when I watch people made in His image create beauty. It was worth my wakefulness!

The color harmony, and yes, the dark and moody makes this piece wonderful! I like a light color pallet, but I love a dark one😊. And the silver makes everything pop. I know how much you like refurbishing furniture. That's why I mentioned filling molds with glue from a glue gun. If you are running low on clay/resin or if you want to shape the applique around a corner, the warm glue works perfectly. I'm in love with scrollwork, and I love the Rocco style... so, in my opinion, you can never have too many appliques on a piece of furniture ☺️. Some of the metallic waxes can make your glue gun appliques look just like metal. Really beautiful piece AB!😊🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁

I can sew paint mural decoupage draw needlepoint crochet crewel embroidery and i work with all types of glue . But your artistry with a glue gun is amazing . How do you control the glue so well . Without globs. Or strings . Its just beautiful . I admire what you are doing .

Blue hydrangeas are one of my most favorite flowers. What you created is absolutely SPECTACULAR! I’ve never seen any that had tiny dots in the center, but it’s beautiful. When you were trying to decide between using silver or gold, I was really hoping that you would choose silver! The combination of colors,in the background, enhances the flowers beautifully! Thank you for sharing that with us. I throughly enjoy watching you create, but nothing beats the end result!

Beautiful!!! For managing the glue strings, I've heard to use a hot glue gun that has a temperature dial and set it to the lowest setting, and that would minimize how much glue strings you have to clean up.

I am inspired! Using an old canvas that was sitting around. I have cleaned my brushes on this canvas after I finished with a previous green creation, so it shouted "pick me" when I was looking around for a backdrop for your project. Wish I could paste a photo of Step One (glue gun business on the canvas), but it looks OK so far. Will let you know what happens - still deciding whether I want to use alcohol inks, acrylic pouring or just some mixed media on top.

First I wanted to say that ALL of your crafts and videos are MAGICAL! I would have never thought to use a glue gun like this! WOW! I have to say when you poured the paint on I started to panic, because I didn't see the whole idea at first. But my patience paid off, and in the end..BRILLIANT! I hope you don't mind, but I have a question. I noticed 2 spots, one in the middle just above the flower and one just above the top flower. As an artist, I realize everything is static, moving and different, right? But the 2 spots would make me crazy every time I looked at it! Is this just my overly critical OCD coming out? Or did anyone else notice the same? I would truly love the feedback, because I do this with almost every craft I make or see to some degree. Usually one tiny adjustment is all that's necessary with MY crafts. But someone else's? I just wonder if it's a problem with me and if anyone else has ever had this happen. God Bless Everyone! ♥🎨🧵🪡🖼

This looks really beautiful! It would be lovely to see cherry blossom and a rose gold metallic. I may have to buy a new glue gun! I’ve got some resin from a random craft weekend, I love the filled petals. Not sure if you did the leaves too but I think I’d do that, you could add small pieces of metallic thread for the veins and the white highlights on the flowers, or even some white bugle beads. I can’t help being “extra” with my art, it’s my textiles training! 😂

Apparently putting a little vaseline at the end of your glue gun prevents those little strings. Ive never tried it, but wanted to pass this tip along in case you wanted to try it. Hopefully it works. 😊
