Thank you for sharing your gifts with students who are inspired by your work. You are able to reproduce what the eyes see, then enhance that beauty spiritually with what your eyes see. I wish you well Janhendrik, Lindsay.

As usual this is just stunning from my favourite painter. It amazes me that the view is so vast and a wonderful perspective, considering it is on a narrow canvas. Thank you as always your amazing 🥰

Thank you, Tracey! Somehow this narrow format seems to help to evoke a sense of space. Maybe because, as a viewer, you automatically focus on the perspective and you don't get distracted by a vast sky?

Great work, and good methodology. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to want to paint everything at once and find it hard to develop a long term perspective on a painting, in addition to the fact that every time I want to paint something I have to spread out with paints and an easel in the living room and then assemble it. But I'm definitely going to try following your example to do similarly to this video only smaller in format. I admire your work and greetings from Norway!

Thanks! Having a permanent work space surely helps to stick to a long term plan. Maybe pick up an older painting and see how far you can take it?
