Goldie, I am a chronic pain suffer, in need of 3 joint replacements and a spinal cord stimulator implant, etc, so I truly understand how painful trying to paint is. I haven't been able to raise a brush for nearly 3 weeks, but keep hoping today will be the day I can work on my canvas in progress. I am saying a prayer for you that you will have a good day and for Justin, too. He's such a blessing.

Hi Justin. Im john. Im missionary in Honduras. I really enjoy your videos. You are a great, down to earth, instructor even though you may not see yourself that way. I started watching bob ross and other painting channels and really want to learn how to do landscape painting. You videos inspire me greatly as did bob ross'. Its really hard to find oil paint supplies where i live in the mountains of Honduras. I thought about ordering from amazon but its really hard to get things shipped to me here. I thought if i could learn, then i could teach the youth who are at risk and / or poor here. For now i try to incorporate the techniques you use to digital painting. I have a long way to go but im always learning. Thank you for your videos

Hey brother. I really enjoy your channel, I’m having an artist block. I quit painting for 5 years and just picked up the brush about 2 weeks ago. I paint to relieve stress, and I can not get back to where I used to be skill wise. I’m finding it’s causing me more stress. I’ve been basically making mud lately. I’m going to try this approach you did in this painting. You’re an amazing artist, whether you believe it or not. Thank you for keeping me and other people company. You’re an important person to me, and I look forward to watch you paint, and just babble!! Lol. How can I get over this painters block, I’m having a hard time seeing it!!

Food for thought by the way, maybe make group painting video meet, but I guess it would need to be on another platform, for I was thinking as the possibility to have video on while painting. Like a 'paint night' or those places that book for groups or private parties and you get to paint w others for some hours w the option of buying a bottle of wine or beer.. Did that long ago, thought it was so fun and found out for the first time in my life I actually enjoy painting. Anyway, thought there could be the same kind of thing but on a video group time and have some fun while painting w others (online).

Yes, sometimes the canvas has something else in mind than what I have had in mind to paint. Painting can be a bit magical at times, it is a mix of practice, and ability to have fun, with effort, and intuition.

Hi Justin, I am from South-Africa. I want to ask you something about a comment you made and also in past videos. You say you do not sell your paintings because it means to much for you. You also mentioned that you gave some of your paintings away? What is the reason? I started with this painting today. My work does not get anything near to yours. Sometimes people want to buy paintings or want to order a painting I did but want me to change object and colours. I do not want to do that as every painting I do, have a piece of me in it. It kind of hurt my feelings, because it is not what I wanted to express. I hate negative comments, because it is my truth. What do you think?
