What a cool looking truck, I love the red chassis parts and also the decal design both of which are a nod to the 1987 original. Tamiya just need to go all the way and rerelease the original with original box art.
I dont speak Japanese but i feel like this guy speaks the truth about that sweet ass Clod

On the black edition the decals are special, the suspension parts trees are red, the wheels are a special black chrome, the body is molded in black. The manual also states the special black edition parts will not be available seperately for replacement.

@@The-Warm-voice1359 Yea same old super clod just different colors and decoration. I would have thought tamiya would have offered its own axle mounted servo hop up kit by now. At least all the good aftermarket parts from the last 30 years still work and fit the same. Most clods all get modded eventually unless the owner wants just a shelf display. Still a neat looking color scheme on the black edition.

Basically- This is the clodbuster, It's dual motor and big, it drives with a very imposing feel. It was first released '87 and mainly remains unchanged. The interesting thing about the black edition is the red plastics, chrome wheels and the black molded body.
