Recommend :
1. Bring Plenty of water or electrolyte to stay hydrated at all times, snack to enjoy during breaks.
2. Make Sure your 4x4 vehicle is equipped with front and rear recovery points
3. Make sure your 4x4 vehicle is thoroughly checked and free from any faults, especially the radiator coolant levels, engine oil levels, Etc., and other possible areas that you may think that can go wrong.
4. Fuel, Full tank shall be filled up at the closet petrol station to the deflation point.
5. A walkie- Talkie/ Radio and safety flag is a must.
6. Seat belts must be safely fastened for the full duration of the drive for driver and passengers.
7. If you have basic off-road equipment - tire deflater, pressure gauge, recovery rope, etc. Always prepared.
8. Please follow the lead car at all time maintaining convoy positions as allocated at the beginning, unless advices by the Lead car/ Second lead or the Sweep car.

That's some pretty good video. Do you mind sharing your camera set up? Is that a Gopro mounted on the back somewhere or someone hanging out with a gimble?? The follow shots of the Pajero are real nice. I'm just about to push the button on a 2017 Pajero - I wanted a Prado to start with, but man, the Toyota tax is rediculous in KSA. New or used I could buy 3 Mitsi's for the price of a single Toyota in the same condition.

Hi, On road I do average in highway 7 to 9km. In city drive 4 to 5km. It’s all depends how you drive and I just keep most of the time 1500 to 2000 rpm always.

Most pajero owners recommend using 4HLC. I also use 4HLC with my pajero!

So Pajero has this super select 4x4 system 2H - 2wd (power on rear axle) 4H - 4wd, all wheel drive more stability 4HLC - 4WD with Center diff lock 4LLC- 4WD with centre diff lock and low range gears So where you need more torque, yes 4llc will do good but you should be able to handle most with 4hlc, specially on softer sand or steep climb 4llc. The challenge is 4 speed (3L engine) /(3.5 &3.8) 5 speed gear box. You need to learn when down shift to get max torque and optimum rpm...all with abs off.
