Mate what a great set up, we have an outback journey 17.55-9 2022, the Jayco tows well, we manage to si on or just above speed limits all the time, one thing I do, is never hold the throttle down going up hills, I let momentum carry us, I get 16.2 with an 05 prado 4L V6, ours is a twin axle as well, and tows like a dream, as an ex truckie, I have no fear of sending it, with the anti sway control etc. Enjoy your vid, new sub.

I too own a Pajero Sport and did a 9700km 6 week trip with it no caravan just a tent also went out there middle of May to Birdsville dry hot during the day and cold at night, only managed 50km into Simpson Desert due to flood waters. Your trip was on a completely different level with all that rain. Nice video, I should pull my finger out and up load as well.

Great setup, we did 4 weeks towing Jayco Starcraft 12.38 around Tassies mountains did really well. Are you happy with the airbags as been looking at them but couldn't find anyone with that setup.

Yes very happy They're also handy for levelling the van when I'm too lazy to disconnect from the car

We have just ordered a Pajero Sport, bit disappointed with fuel consumption, expected better.

Ordered it? I'm still waiting for mine. It's been built, but I don't think it's on the ship yet. Fuel consumption? I think it depends on the weight of your van. I am currently towing a folding Avan, about 1 tonne or so, and getting about 13 l/100km behind my Ford. It will be interesting to compare that with the Paj sport when I get it.

Mitsubishi sent me an email and said they would update me as things progress, it was due early December, it hasn't even been made yet, all I got was that our car was in a queue, it takes 25 days port to port, that doesn't include customs, land transport etc, there is no way I will see our car this year, ordered on the 15/8 and the car was already on order with dealer.@@johnwebster5983

Mate Some people can drive and others can actually drive The way you used momentum to move forward in that slippery mud was stop on 👌

Most people cannot drive, especially off road.

I think you might find the reason your TPMS is hard to read is because the screen protector is still in place. I've bought a few of these for $32 via ebay and swear by them but I could hardly read the screen on the first one. I even made a sunvisor for it out of gaffer tape which helped a little. I complained like hell to the seller and he did ask me more than once if I had removed the screen protector. I would have bet my life there was no screen protector and instead it was faulty auto brightnesses. Eventually I got the point of a knife and gave one corner of the screen a gentle scratch... guess what? Once you remove the (almost invisible) screen protector, the read out is a clear as a bell in all light conditions, even in direct sunlight onto the screen! 17:11
