Wahkhan is an integral part of Pakistan. The region of Wakhan was once a part of British India during the colonial era. Subsequently, the British negotiated with the URRS or then Russian regarding its status, designating it as an uninhabitable area serving as a buffer zone between Tajikistan and British India. At that time, China was not involved in these negotiations, as it had never asserted any claim over the territory. Similarly, Afghanistan also did not regard it as an integral part of its territory. This raises questions about how Wakhan is now considered part of Afghanistan. Following the partition of India, Wakhan became associated with the Gilgit and Chitral districts. To reach Chitral, travelers still traverse Wakhan on foot and by pony, as it has historically been a segment of the ancient Silk Route facilitating trade between China, Central Asia, Afghanistan, the Mughal Empire, and later British India. Presently, this area is part of Pakistan and serves as a border region between Tajikistan and Pakistan.

Afghanistan and Pakistan should not fight over the small Wakhan Corridor, nor waste their resources on this insignificant piece of land. Since it lies between four countries, they should all come together at the negotiation table to find a permanent, mutually beneficial solution. This way, they can ensure equal benefits for all parties involved. Otherwise, unnecessary conflicts will persist, leading to the continued waste of hard-earned money. The solution must be fair and acceptable to all four nations.

It is surprising that no body is talking to contain this bloodshed. Sir you should talk on the internecine war between Pakistan and Afghanistan. So sad no sane voice is being heard so far. Both brotherly nations are killing each other and destroying their resources and energy just for some petty things. No problem is there which cannot be sorted out. I think some sane voice should prevail and stop this bloodshed.

So should not spend time talking if you can expect good relations with them. Just ignore them as they have no standing in our country.Just say Hello and Bye Bye. UAE and S.Arabia is joining that group.
