Team India received a whopping Rs 125 crore prize money from the BCCI for winning the T20 World Cup 2024 title. According to the reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded $2.45 million (Rs 20.42 crore) to the champion Indian team. In addition, the BCCI announced a separate prize money of Rs 125 crore for the Indian team's triumph. BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated: "I am pleased to announce prize money of INR 125 Crores for Team India for winning the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024." So in total, the Indian team received around Rs 145 crore in prize money - Rs 20.42 crore from the ICC and an additional Rs 125 crore from the BCCI for their T20 World Cup 2024 victory.
