Why are you parrying his right arm 3 times before hitting him instead of parry and hit at the same?
@imrane16123 күн бұрын
Repositioning to get into a more favorable position. He wants to be inside. First is a guard then its just to keep the arm in check

@@imrane161 He parried his right arm with his left hand, then checked it with his right, then checked it again with a left bong sau, then struck him with a right palm. But why not hit him with his left hand after checking his arm with his right arm?

Control, irl, the other person is going to be moving, and trying to fight back, so this works as a demonstration on ways that you could provide yourself with opportunities to defend and attack depending on how it goes

Why do you do so many moves on the second arm before initiating the attack? You did three moves before doing that palm strike to the sternum. It looks cool. Why so many?

@LWSPAKMEI wouldn't it be more practical to attack after the first pak sau, after you divert and clear the second arm?
@Kcseales23 күн бұрын
@LWSPAKMEI after you clear away his left arm. Then you divert his right arm with your palm (pak sau), is that move supposed to be a finger jab? Or is that a check, another cover against that arm?

I always was eager to try myself in this martial art, but im afraid its a little late for me to start. How old were you, when tou stepped on this journey?
