Most people know about: Bhakti Sambhava Karma Yoga Mimamsa Jainism Buddhism Charva Advaita Tantra Yoga Different people practice differently in their personal lives. Just one important thing... People don't question others' practice and way of living and people are tolerant of different people's different practices. On the contrary people are curious to know.

I am Charvak. There is no God, no Reincarnation or Afterlife, no Sole. There is no Free Will as well, therefore no Self. (this idea of No-Self is also in Advaita Vedanta, but my argument supporting that is coming from different direction) When you die, you are over. 💥 Consciousness is an emergent property of certain kind of information processing system. Level of Consciousness depends on complexity of Information processing. Therefore, non-Biological Machines (Like AI), can also be sentient. They already have rudimentary form of Consciousness. Although their nature of Consciousness will be different than humans. And this sense of Self is also an illusion. It is also an emergent property.

Anyone of them, follow for some time consistently. Bhakti is the best starter, but focus on the philosophy, not rituals, emotions or imagery. Listen to Premanand ji Maharaj. After some time you will start understanding the basics. He is a realised saint, unlike most others, that means he speaks from personal experience of truth.

There is no principle to understand the core of all these philosophies. Some might argue that god is the core but that too isnt. The philosophies in what we commonly term as Hinduism is highly difficult, its like to understand the universe. I have been studying it for last 25 years yet i just known 5% or below it so far.

He made everything very confusing, could hv narrated in a simple way....main are 3 paths..Karma, Bhakti n Gyan marg...according to our nature or mind set we can choose any path, but Gyan marg is the direct path...its introspecting ourself n by meditating going deep within to exprience the supreme conciousness n knw the secrets of universe, but everything starts with Bhakti. Santan Dharma is more of sprituality than a rigid religion. Hinduism is a very peacful religion n not fanatic at all...we can choose aur path, there is z freedom. Start listening easy things first...like watch Sri Sri Ravishankar, Sister Shivani, Osho n Sadhguru's videos.
