Never heard any standup sooo accurately describe the Mumbai train journey 😊 btw there was not even a bit of exaggeration. I have faced a very similar situation in my first fast local when I was new in the city. But then with the worst infrastructure possible, Mumbai is a city you don't want to leave. It embraces everyone happily.

Only those born & brought up in Mumbai do not mind d horrible situation & experience to outsiders. A friend of mine was posted at Mumbai, and while passing thro Mumbai tried calling to ask how she was doing, but no response. After a few days on my returning, tried calling again, and she was sobbing without saying anything. Now, I as was passing thro Mumbai & had no stop there, but on hearing her sob, I got down to find her place. She said, as she was staying alone in this promotional posting, her aged father was staying along with her. One day, as he was travelling by a local train, and as not habitual to travelling in such a mad crowd, he got pushed & fell on d track, cutting his leg. But, due to loss of blood, sadly could not make it. So, that life may seem nice only for born & brought up, young Mumbaikars & not recommended for d sick, d aged etc.

Omg 😞 that's why I fear train journey the most, this is the scariest thing that could happen losing an organ or life permanently , the dangerous part is the crowd pushes evryone irrespective of age aged , kids which can , it causes severe accidents nobody cares they just want to reach faster & first it's same in every metro cities but may be more in mumbai

I was in thane last 1.5 yrs and the things of Thane local train was on point by him. In office hours, it's a sea of people coming out and going in and no one can do anything about it. That's so true...

Mumbaikars are the nicest and honest people in India no arrogance no attitude no show off no jaante ho mera baap kaun hai,no judgemental,safest city for anyone to travel in nights, honest auto drivers probably only auto drivers in india who give Rs 1 back as change,city that never sleeps,gives all equal opportunity,all festivals celebrated in grand manner,where strangers strike conversation easily,help comes from the most unexpected place..yes trains are overcrowded because whole of india migrated post 1950s..in next 5 years will have world class infrastructure trains metro underground train auto taxi ..Mumbai Meri Jaan always

So true about balconies. I am from Delhi and we always had balconies in our homes. Ab Mumbai mein 3 balcony wale ghar ke liye 1.70 lakh per month dena pad raha hai 😢

@@HardikShahenshah same applies on mumbaikars too. They live in their comfort zone. We north indian enjoy every weather with extreme experience. Usi ka to maja hai, jyada garmi me dimag kharab karwao jyada thand me haddiya kapkapao or barish me shahar hi duba do. No hate for mumbai but wo kuch time ke lie sahi lagega wahi same mausam saalo bhar 30-35 degree wala+garmi or barish. Lekin ek time k bad bore ho jayega koi v. Tum wahi rahte hoge shayad islie aisa bol rhe, kabhi rah ke dekho delhi, up, bihar, himachal, punjab wale area me fir maja aayega. Haa bas garmi bardas ke bahar hoti hai baaki sab sahi rahta

Mubai ki local subha 7 am se 10 am tuk bahot rush hota hai kunki sub office jane wale hote hain 11 am se sham 4pm tuk local zyada ter khali milegi lekin sham 5 pm se 7pm tuk fir rush milega kunki sab office se chutte hain. I love mumbai amchi mumbai sunder mumbai.

Doesn't change the fact that Mumbai's transportation is sh!t, and neither the BMC nor the state govt seem to be doing anything regarding this.
