Then there is the hindu shahi dynasty(Raja jayapala and Raja Anandpala) which ruled the region from 850 until 1026 AD and zunbil dynasty from 680 to 870 AD.

The cultural exchange of Takshila happened way before the Indo-Greeks. First it was with the Achamenid Persians and Greek scholars used to come in Takshila. This was an university older than the Buddha himself.
