“And so many a moving creature carries not its own provision!” - meaning, it does not have the ability to gather its provision and save it for tomorrow. “Allah provides for it and for you.” - means, Allah allots its provision to it even though it is weak, and makes it easy for it. He sends provision to every creature in the appropriate manner, even the ants in the depths of the earth, the birds in the air and the fish in the sea. “And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” - means, He hears all that His servants say and He knows their every movements.

Thank you, this comment section is a dumpster fire, with some people saying this is God's way of punishing sinners, or that if Pakistan's govt wasn't so corrupt they could have foreseen the floods and better prepared, and there may be partial truth in that (idk for sure b/c I'm no expert on foreign govt, but I assume every govt everywhere has some degree of corruption) but, I feel like people are focusing on the wrong part of this story; all mountainous areas are experience glacial melts, the more people that live in the flood path, the worse the disaster, but the big picture is that glaciers that have existed for thousands of years are melting! That's terrifying, and deeply saddening. I'm at a loss.

Why did pakistaan not keep reserves to handle such situations.
