Since now the corporate sector wants to enter this segment as well, they want to deregulate the market prices to improve on profit margins while taking advantage of livestock farmers. Already meat is getting out of range for many, and Pakistanis are deficient in proteins. Small-medium-Large scale open/shed livestock farming/breeding with mass/weight/milk gainers from natural feeds(like that new chinese grass) has to be incentivized through policy after consultation with all stakeholders. Local prices should be in line with on average local purchasing power, export pricing in line with international market prices!

Pakistan sy subsy zyada meat UAE jata. Average wholesale price is 18 AED per KG Hy beef roughly 1500 PKR. While mutton is 25 AED per kg that is 2250 PKR per kg. Now tell me, add the meat costs and export costs and other operational costs, what's the benefit? There is no benefit at all. 70 percent of meat exporters use it as a front to launder money. There is nothing at all in this. Don't misguide people. Please challenge my comment and statistics. I am open to a debate.
