When I traveled to Pakistan in 1999, I visited several arcades and noticed many kids gathered around Tekken 3 machines, a game I often played on the PS1. Surprisingly, a young kid challenged me to a match, and I was astounded by their skill level, even back then. It seemed that Street Fighter wasn’t as popular there; Tekken was the preferred game among the arcade-goers.

I wish I could pinpoint exactly when this was said, but I distinctly remember Aris around TTT2 mentioning this. He was saying that partly why he liked the World Tour going to overlooked countries was because he thought there was a possibility there were really strong players out there, and we just haven't had the chance to see it. I think this was when El Gallo Negro was making waves, and there was that African player who was tearing people up with double Capos. That was a couple years before Pakistan turned up and redefined the tournament scene, so I guess he was right lol. But like to imagine there's maybe a region we still don't know about, that might pop up out of nowhere and give Pakistan a run for thier money 😄

Age plays a role. The older you get, the more your reactions slow down. Vision gets worse and you have to physically stay in shape if you want to remain competitive. I am from Pakistan. Some days ago there was some kind of fun gala arranged completely by the students in my university. There was tekken tag tournament 2 on a PC there as well . My friend who i knew was a beast in tekken went to play with a guy who was literally thrashing other people there . When my friend got the chance to play with him i knew he us gonna boil him and as i expected he beated him in 3 rounds straight within 10 minutes . That guy was so pissed off because before my friend played against him he was the Top guy there.

Best way to win which always works for me is just be aggressive as much as you can until your health reaches rage Then start proper defending and sneak attacks and combos and keep your opponent guessing ,what's your next move My gameplan☝️ 💯% works for me 🔥

pakistan is ahead of everyone in gaming because we played this game day in and day out in those old school self made arcade boxes. and we played offline so the world really doesnt know about us, we developed our own fighting style too. most pakistani players would agree that arslan ash is a tip of the ice berg. but good for him to go online with his skills and around the world. otherwise the world wouldnt know how good we are at it.

the funny thing about this tournament is that the top 12 losers are full of Pakistanis. If Patloars, Ayorichie, and CBM didn't beat them, 6 out of 8 people in top 8 will be under Pakistani flag lol XD.
