The difference is this, in all democracies the protests/protestors become violent, whereas as in non democratic countries like Pakistan the peaceful protectors are violently crushed. Going with this logic the protest in Pakistan will not last long. Whereas in true democratic countries it would continue for weeks, months that gives the opportunity's to the west, western media and Al Jazeera to comment. Last few weeks we have seen this in US, the Europe in the last many years witnessed it. Hope better sense will prevail and west will not interfere in any of the democratic countries.
