It is called the theoretical model of five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Every Indian fan has been screaming on social media that Indian team will not go to Pakistan for the past six months or more. But Pakistan was in denial. When insider information leaked out from the BCCI camp, Pakistan realised for the first time that their dreams are shattering. It made them very angry and it can be seen in the outpouring on social media. Now they are in the third stage. They will go through depression next before they can finally accept the reality that this is happening and they are powerless to do anything about it.
