Dr. Mishra’s view that Pakistan is a bankrupt country where people are starving is completely incorrect. I have visited Pakistan many times and have never felt that way. Interestingly, Pakistanis often have similar views about India.
@sanjithrithvik35485 күн бұрын
lol India’s gdp per capita is almost double of Pakistan and gdp is 10-11 times more than Pakistan and you say India is starving
@physicistandmathematician57705 күн бұрын
@sanjithrithvik3548 who publish these reports. You indians are stuck in these false reports 😂 Reality is totally opposite. Don't ever undermine Pakistan's military power.
@Alephbaypay3 күн бұрын
@sanjithrithvik3548 you can shove your gdp where the sun don't shine because with that GDP, you still rank far below Pakistan on the Global Hunger Index, infact, it is the worst in whole of asia, so clearly your country is the most starved on the continent - Pakistani's aren't that far off the mark with their view about you. Secondly, your country has more crimes and more unemployment - so idk what you intend to do with that GDP..
@aqilansari2012 күн бұрын
@sanjithrithvik3548 While it is true that India’s GDP per capita and overall GDP are significantly higher than Pakistan’s, the claim about "starving" requires nuance and context. Here’s a more comprehensive comparison to address this: GDP Comparison: India’s GDP per capita (PPP, 2023): Approximately $7,000-$8,000. Pakistan’s GDP per capita (PPP, 2023): Approximately $3,500-$4,000. India’s nominal GDP: 10-11 times larger than Pakistan’s, reflective of its larger population and broader economy. Poverty Rates: While India has reduced poverty significantly, millions still live below the poverty line due to its massive population. Pakistan faces similar challenges, but with a smaller economy and fewer resources, it struggles more to address widespread poverty. Hunger and Malnutrition: According to the Global Hunger Index (GHI), both countries face challenges, but India often ranks lower due to its larger population facing malnutrition and access issues. Pakistan’s hunger challenges are exacerbated by economic instability, but on some indicators, it might perform comparably to rural regions of India. Economic Stability: India enjoys a more diversified economy with robust sectors like IT, manufacturing, and services. Pakistan, on the other hand, has faced fiscal deficits, political instability, and slower economic growth, leading to vulnerabilities like inflation and food shortages in certain areas. Perspective Matters: While India’s macroeconomic indicators are undeniably stronger, the term “starving” can be an oversimplification for both countries. Hunger and malnutrition are complex challenges tied to income inequality, infrastructure, and governance, not just GDP figures. Instead of comparing who’s “starving,” a constructive dialogue could focus on how both nations can collaborate or learn from each other’s strategies to improve living conditions for their citizens.

India is a liability in the triad of USA, Israel, India. We suffer from a “ Hindu state of mind”. Remember the Israel suggestion to take out Pakistan nuclear facilities 40 years ago turned down by India? On a flippant note the BCCI cannot even get its demand met by PCB without being outfoxed by PCB until 2031. Note our psyche worried about Bangladesh going nuclear. Left to India Maldives May go nuclear. We have to hope Israel brilliance and testicular fortitude combined with American guile and heft can address this critical issue. India is much better off dealing with Maldives and Sri Lanka! They have lost Nepal.

Pak army and military establishment, ISI run a parallel economy so it doesn't need IMF or forex or reserves to obtain sophisticated weapons platforms, pak has maintained and sustained sophisticated quantitative and qualitative tactical and conventional nuclear weapons systems. Pak army is very rich and powerful soon with CPEC which is now expanding will allow pak army to get more powerful and rich, pak army 3 star generals are billionaires these guys own everything in pakistan and people of pakistan accept this primarily as pak army is the only institution that keeps pak stable hence why US sanctions will not affect pakistan missiles systems

Off course reason Poorly Managed Interventions: The lack of a coherent and sustainable plan for post-withdrawal Afghanistan is a clear example of poorly managed intervention. After the U.S. and NATO forces left, there was no robust international framework for assisting in rebuilding or ensuring security. The U.S. left behind vast amounts of military equipment, which fell into the hands of the Taliban and, by extension, other insurgent groups. The absence of a stable, functioning Afghan government or security apparatus left civilians vulnerable to both Taliban rule and militant groups targeting Pakistan. This created a perfect storm where civilian populations became collateral damage in a broader struggle.
