Islamabad has sent multiple Police battalions to crush dissent in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. The people of PoK had called for a peaceful protest on Saturday. They wanted to demonstrate against unjust taxes. Pakistan has been charging PoK exorbitant prices for electricity. The people of PoK call this unjust, because they have hydro-electric plants that make the region self-sufficient in terms of power. Kashmiris feel they are subsidising Pakistan. But Islamabad tried to prevent Saturday's peaceful protest by preemptively detaining about 70 leaders in PoK. The detentions sparked clashes, and reports say two schoolgirls have been killed because of tear gas shells fired by the Pakistani forces.

Most of our scripture and literature comes from Kashmir, All the people there were Hindus, and even during British Raj, Kashmir was ruled by Hindu, Sikh kings who signed Instument of Accession with India. Just like all other provinces. So, be it historically, legally and civilizationally, Kashmir is India. Nobody will try and get it removed from India, unless they have death wish.
