*Places like this fascinate me,* the industrial rawness & the feeling of being on another planet here was mighty. Bizarre beauty. I hope you enjoy the video and I hope it gives you a taste of the atmosphere here in the southern region of Balochistan. As has happened many times on my trip in Pakistan, friendly and welcoming faces greeted us on more than one occasion on this day. Thank you for watching and hope you are all doing ok during this difficult time that we all face collectively. ❤️🌏 *Want to see the photos from this trip?* 📸 Check out my Instagram here: instagram.com/indigo.traveller/

Wat I badly miss in their vlogs new places new Developments malls bazar hotels restaurant. Thy also not get to see south side Balochistan a few went explored n showed food ranger + eva + rosy gibrel explored Balochistan not all. If v look at our Pakistani vloggers bloggers thy showing old n new all places thy showing old history + modern Malls buildings restaurants hotels places parks theme parks + beaches in Pakistan. Man, the language sounds so similar to Hindi. I guess it's Urdu? I don't know much Hindi but enough to recognize the similarity. Yes and no are the same, achha, etc. So if someone just speaks Hindi, can they talk with someone who speaks Urdu? Or are they more different than they sound? Pretty cool that you managed to get up close to the boats Nick.

Pakistan has more punjabi people than india. there are about 10 crore punjabi people while in india pnnjabi people are about 3 crore or less. india never existed as a state in history. it was a sub continent. where different tribes and ethnic groups were used to fight with each other before muslim united them as a state. The first poet of punjabi was a muslim belongs to pkistani region of punjab. And we have some of the great punjabi poets.like "Bhulay shah, Shah Hussain, Baba Freed"and many others .there literature was just amizing . Punjab was always a muslim dominent region.

@@RaggedRomeo what??? Have ypu ever talked to a Pakistani common ladies?? Women's dignity is considered a pride for her father, brother or husband. Even there is a saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) "Paradise resides under the feet of mother" There is another saying of the Prophet (PBUH) "Don't differentaite between your kids, treat them the same way, even if you have to favour someone, favour your daughters." Also there is a growing surfing community in Pakistan despite the waves during most times not being that large. It is funny how KZbin can really open up the world. Your channel is really excellent and you really have helped open up the world to all to see. I like your companion Shahbaz but I get the impression from watching all your videos that he has never really interacted with the working classes of Pakistan as sometimes I've noticed he struggles to communicate with them, is not a criticism of him per se as is phenomenon world over that the well to do people never really get to know the lives of poorer people but it is more pronounced in developing countries.

JD P you would have been right anywhere else in the world. But not in Karachi. A city of 20+ million. You are bound to run into people of different classes. Unless you live in a bubble you have to interact with locals to buy groceries or street vendors. It may shahbaz’s visit to the shipyard as many wouldn’t want to visit it. I mean what’s the fascination. So back to the original point. Considering shabaz can speak local languages he has interacted way more with the working class. However this wouldn’t be true for a 🍔 burger class that lives in Islamabad. 🤣

I am from Pakistan and can confirm that your observation about shahbaz is totally correct. He seems to be from a privileged family(and it's an amazing thing while living in a third world country) therefore he is a bit of gap between him and local working class of Pakistan.

@@tfortube yes of course you have to interact on a transactional level with shop owners & street hawkers, maids, sweepers, drivers etc but I'm talking about on a human level as Nick is doing, asking about their life, family, hopes & aspirations. I've noticed in the vids Shahbaz sometimes struggles to translate to/from Urdu as he is probably used to speaking the type of Urdu with lots of English words interspersed

Yes I can also say that as I am from Pakistan. Actually the security guy he was talking with was speaking Punjabi and Shehbaz was speaking Urdu maybe he doesn't understand Punjabi that much. Actually there are regional languages of every region. Pakistan belived to have 76 different languages or dialects but national language is Urdu which is the first language of only 8% of Pakistanis but everyone understands and can speak urdu

This was an amazing series. When I was a kid I was lucky to see some of those Pakistanis working with my dad so I feel sort of "home" with them somehow, and after seeing this series I would definitely consider going there.

First of all how you can wear flip flops in an industrial place and thorny walkway, wrong choice bro, another KZbinr got a sharp thorn in his sneakers walking at the same place, so glad you didn’t get injured. Your interaction with local Baluch youngster was amazing! Love how Baluchs love Pakistan, and hope Pakistan serious authorities will make Baluchi youth their priority. All in all amazing video, and thanks for saying “Pakistan is one of your favorite countries!” Great honor for Pakistanis! Hope to see you back soon!

I also find ship graveyards fascinating and I am obviously jealous you’ve been to one ;) But if these places were something to be proud of, they wouldn’t prohibit people from visiting them. Poor working conditions and a terrible environmental impact, unfortunately.

Shahjahan khan don’t be triggered. He is speaking about the ship breaking yard. It’s not common that people dare go close to such places for the repercussions of getting kicked out or worse finned. Not just in Pakistan. Any private business any where in the world is out of bounds and isn’t considered a tourist spot.
