I heard ex-Captains of the England teams, Mr. Naseer Hussain and Mr. Michael Atherton commenting after the match and in their expert comments I notice their emphasis in commenting was focused on what we have learned from these conditions, spin bowling and Saud Shakeel. Pakistan's Greatest late batsman Hanif Mohammad sahib, always said, " STAY ON THE WICKET, RUNS WILL COME " and Saud Shakeel plays that form of Cricket.. I remember when England visited sub-continent in 70's, 80's and even 90's they always played 3 or 4 days side matches before the start of the test series and get acclimatized and familiarized with the conditions, but in the current times due to the players of the touring teams have no time to play 3 or 4 day cricket since there is not a high playing fee involve , tight cricket schedules and commitments, also, if the touring side plays 3 or 4 day cricket before and in the middle of the test series to it gives an opportunity to the Coach and Captain of the team to select a better team for the test series and not only considering the stats of the players and data from the previous series. ODI's and T-20 Cricket is a beast in this sport which has got too popular in short time and this money walks and bullshit talks kind of attitude from the Cricket boards and their officials all over the World, Social media, commentators, experts, private companies promoting brand Cricket, Commercials, Betting on matches, fixing on matches, wickets and what not is taking Test Cricket to a dismal point. If 3 or 4 day Cricket for the touring teams are scheduled during a foreign visit of the teams in Sub-Continent meaning Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Siri Lanka, Afghanistan, England, Australia, West Indies, New Zealand, South Africa and upcoming Cricket teams, like Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, and other teams like UAE, Nepal, USA, African teams it will encourage the people to tilt back towards Test Cricket and the stadiums will be full with the fans. ( not the gigantic dust blowing fans Pakistan Cricket Board used to over dry the wickets and get England under psychological duress to play in the Test. lol. ) I guess Aaqib's trick worked and we all know he is Street smart. On a serious note we have to come to the terms with the growing," GREED " factor of making money by hook or crook to compete in this game. Yes not if you compare with newzealand or Australia. We have seen these 2 spinners against Australia 2 years back they could not get 20 wickets. After jimmy Anderson and broad they don’t have fast bowlers who can do reverse swing in Asian conditions. Without Moren Ali and Abdul Rasheed they are clueless. Watch his shows after the first test and he had completely written off the entire Pakistan cricket system. The only thing that can be predicted about Pakistan cricket is that it’s unpredictable. From the 92 World Cup to 2017 champions trophy it’s always a story of unpredictable performances. This unpredictable nature highlights the inefficiencies and corruption in Pakistan cricket but an analyst should be professional like Nasser Hussain Atherton and others. For everyone trolling Babar Azam, we should look at India's ¨superstars¨too. I think Babar was deservedly kept out of the team and the same needs to happen for Virat atleast, and maybe Sharma too for a few games (Sharma averages below his career average last 3 years). Virat´s average in the last 5 years has consistently been in the mid 20s and this year he averages 27. If you take Virats 186 (his century out of the 2023 stats, where the match was drawn on a flat wicket (Australia scored 480 and 175-2), his stats in 2023 is below his career average too. At 36 now, and definitely not made of the same cloth as the last great Indian test batsman tendulkar, and gavaskar gee, he definitely needs to be dropped. Virat is hyped up. Out of 14 years in test cricket, he averages 50 plus in 6 of those years. Great limited overs player, wouldn't count on him on tests.

Kohli was always a super stud in white ball cricket but never esp in the last few years in test cricket. No comparison with Gavaskar, Sachin and Dravid in test cricket. Kohli reputation and legacy in test cricket is slowly but surely going down!! If he retired in the next year or so from test cricket he would be ranked in test cricket as the 4 best batsman in Indian test history after Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Dravid.

Don’t get upset. The victory of Pakistan against England is happened because of brave decision by aaqib javed to prepare these wickets in the middle of test series and brought back these spinners. It could go against Pakistan if opposition is strong and well prepared as happened in India when underestimated New Zealand had beaten number 1 team India 1st time in test history in India because they were well prepared on the other hand I never see such a weak England bowling attack specially no world class spinner and fast bowler who doesn’t know how to do reverse swing.
