Own the language dude!! Urdu is not just Pakistani, its Indian too. Its actually more Indian than Pakistani. I remember as a child i used to watch a Luknow based urdu channel, just because of the quality of the Urdu language there. Back then our local cables carried Indian channels too.

@@khipksy1888 Yes, you're so right. Also we do have DD URDU and I remember DD BENGALI reading news headlines in Bengali, Hindi and Urdu also the weather forecast. Moreover, the origin of Urdu was basically to have a court language mostly used for court writing (near Lucknow and Delhi area)

@@SR-xz7nz it's true that only 5% of people is Pakistan can speak pure urdu but your claim becomes wrong at origins of these languages, urdu has a very different background due to to mostly arabic influence upon it along with the influence given by people who travelled from regions like mongolia, tajikistan, turkemenistan etc and has grammer rules and translation emerging arabic language

@@SR-xz7nzdon't speak rubbish dude when you have no idea about anything.... urdu is language that has some influence of Sanskrit as well... but it has more influence of Arabic and Persian as this language got evolved in the times of Mughals who were Persian speakers mostly... And in Pakistan, Lahore has more contribution for this language than any other part this country... and Lahore is a Punjabi city.... You are absolutely correct about Urdu being such rich and poetic language. The original meaning and intensified lyrics got lost in translation by 90%. The original lyrics would pierce the heart. Urdu is called "the Queen of languages" N also "the language of Queens" Urdu poetry's history is far back than the actual Urdu language This is a unique thing to this language It is called Reekhta N Our poets like Iqbal is known as "Poet of the East" We have such a rich literature N don't mix it with Hindi Even 90% of Bollywood songs n movies are actually in Urdu not in Hindi They did not accept that but the fact is fact. A side note: I'm native urdu speaker but a bunch of us knows Arabic n Persian languages. Although Urdu is so rich but it cannot beat Arabic n Persian. These are far richer than Urdu. The actress, that you are saying, may be the problem as she is playing all the troubled relationships, her name is Yumna Zaidi (pronounced like Zedi) who is undoubtedly the best actress of this time and has won the most awards of any female artist in Pakistan. She transforms completely into that character that she is playing, has performed very difficult characters, and does not use any glycerine or other stuff to cry. She gets natural tearful eyes and real tears in her eyes if the scene demands that. She also acts through her eyes , facial expressions, deep expressions obvious in her eyes . She is a very simple, modest lady too, very popular specially right now, not only in Pakistan but also in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The actors opposite to her always say that they just reflect back and do not have to try harder, so whichever project she works in becomes a hit. She chooses her scripts wisely too. Good Job Yumna!!! No matter what people are saying about Tere Bin drama, it was a mega blockbuster, the most watched drama with views in billions and most favourite even among Indian viewers. It was not perfect like many other super hit dramas but was still liked due to good production and superb acting. Many people want to keep watching it again and again!! You are right about forced marriage and then guy falls for her soon but she keeps thinking that she was forced so really does not love him, until the end when she realizes her feelings for him. Then separation and then happy ending!!!

Absolutely! Pakistani drama serial OSTs (Original Soundtracks) are renowned for their diversity, richness, and emotional depth. They often capture the essence of the storyline, adding another layer of depth to the overall drama experience. The fusion of traditional and contemporary music in these OSTs creates a powerful and memorable impact, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. From soulful ballads to energetic compositions, Pakistani music for drama serials indeed sets a different standard.

I was waiting for you guys to react on Tere bin ost and here it is yaaayyyyayayy. OMG I m impressed how waleska dissect the ost about 80% correctly. I suggest you to watch this drama then you will understand why the lyrics are like this. It's a very very very entertaining drama & yes modern too hence the ost. It's most watched Pakistani drama till now in all over the world & it trended in different countries throughout its run time on tv. Though it has some flaws in writing and execution which u will see later in the show & the drama was dragged a bit too, still it was so entertaining to watch bcoz of the chemistry of the leads in the show. The story is about them & their dynamic with each other and they are the main attraction of the show. I will suggest you to watch it, it's not based on any social messaging it's juz a very entertaining drama. And yes waleska u r right the hero in this show has looked so damn handsome u will love it. 😉 and the girl is beautiful too. And bcoz of the popularity of the show and the leads they are making season 2 of tere bin which will hopefully release next year. And if you are watching it then please do a review of it too for us.

OMG...Efra is gonna Love Tere Bin..Waleshka might love tge tension but efra will be drowned in symbolism 😂. It was how my knack for symbolism started in the first place...it is the best amalgamation of literature and mythology in a storyline I've witnessed. It might be the most complex drama in the continent! The funny thing is the show is from the male perspective but the background speaks, shouts and wails against him 😂 and people are often left either too judgemental or in splits that who's actually right 😂😂😂 Very very few people actually get the drama..the others just watch it for intensity, strength of character or sexual tension ( which is really high btw) it throws off beautifully

1st song: Atif Aslam has always been antagonistic against his stepfather but originally not his half brother, but now revenge has consumed him and he is ruining his life and everyone else's in his quest to get revenge against his stepfather who he thinks killed his father to marry his mother (it is revealed that he did kill Atif's father for other reasons and the mother had no idea), and there are other characters and subplots. 2nd song: That sound that you referred to as commercial RnB is used in Punjabi music along with similar sounds, as a modern version of traditional punjabi percussion sounds. (you have also confused more traditional/ definitely typical non-folk-music, sounds with latino music and the like many times). it's just convergent evolution of sounds. That actress Yumna Zaidi who is possibly the best Pakistani actress, rarely does regular roles like the fifth OST, her usual roles/dramas are some public message, social issue, highly artistic piece or twisted role/storyline, not regular run of the mill drama serial stuff. 4th and 5th ones seem like forced/coerced/due to ill fate marriages instead of with the one they love, pretty standard drama serial stuff. oh and it's Ishq Kiya, two seperate words but they have made it into one word in the title, Ishqiya. 6th/the last one: A Pakistani origin doctor comes back from his (apparently) rich life abroad, to Pakistan along with his westernized daughter. As you can see from her reaction when she lands, the male lead is very traditional which she looks down upon. She likes to somewhat tease the male lead to his chagrin who she is subconsciously interested in. Lots of stuff happens and the male lead also gets softer towards her erratic behaviour and then is coerced into marrying her while she is starting to discover that her white boyfriend wasn't serious or loyal at all. She also plays with the idea of getting married to try it out before the marriage. Some time after the marriage the girl has been in love with him for a long time but is in denial that she could be in love with someone so conservative while he is also rubbing off on her. The problem is that he believes that she dislikes him and loves the boyfriend(she wasn't really in love with him in the first place). He tries to be the best husband that he can in this sham marriage but is angsty about his feelings (especially because he is ready to let her go for her happiness). There are lots of other issues that come up after their marriage and the whole story obviously has many subplots. You are right about Urdu. Spirituality and unrequited love/heartbreak due to external factors are deeply ingrained in Urdu.

Lol I am Pakistani and never have I ever thought the OSTs can be seen from this perspective. They did a wonderful job evaluating the song with the MV.

Tere Bin is a teliflim with 58 episode and it will make you cry, though has happy ending. Very realistic, forced marriage, love, poetry, fight, misapprehension and so many things. But faith and love wins here.
